  The Skeleton Clock

This type of clock is known as a Skeleton clock, and was made popular in France during Victorian times. They are often seen under large glass domes.

My version has a purpose built English Walnut case, with glass panels and an opening door, as this is considerably easier to use. It is of eight days duration, and has a passing strike, i.e., it strikes once on every hour. This clock also features a year calender.

The unusual Skeleton Clock.
