  Eight day musical Long-case Clock

Musical clocks have always been very popular. This one plays "Oranges and Lemons". This tune has a musical key change in the mid section, so once again, Whitechapel Bell Foundry cast the set of bells especially for this clock.
The dial plate for this clock is gilded, and features enamel work by Alan Mudd. The dial also has a perpetual calendar, so 28th and 29th of February appear.

The time is displayed in the usual way with an Hour, Minute and centre seconds hand. The clock stands 7 foot 2 inches tall in a purpose made Oak case, featuring two marquetry panels showing birds in their Norfolk broads habitat.
